  *DECLARATION OF INDEMNITY

We declare that the particulars stated herein are true and complete. We have read the rules and regulations governing this event and hereby agree to abide by them. We further indemnify the organisers and those connected with the organisers against any injury, accident, or death to ourselves, or damage or loss incurred to the vehicle hereby entered however caused arising out of our taking part in this event. We further declare that the vehicle entered is covered by insurance and road tax duly paid as required by the motor vehicle rules (third party risks) 1959 (Malaya) which is valid for an event such as this.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

  1. This is a Motor Treasure Hunt. There are two categories Open (members of the public) and Closed (members of the Bar, staff of LexisNexis). Entry Fee is RM400 per car for the Open category and RM320 per car for the Closed category. To qualify for the Closed category, the team must consist of ALL Closed category members.
  2. A Team shall be made up of a minimum of 2 persons to a maximum of 4 persons. The Driver of the car should possess a valid driving licence and the car entered must have valid road tax and insurance. The car must be also deemed fit for travel with working brake and signal lights.
  3. Entry forms must be fully completed, with the Declaration of Indemnity signed and the fees paid before it can be officially accepted as an entry. Entries will be accepted henceforth and limited to the first 100 cars on a first-come-first-served basis.
  4. A briefing will be held prior to the hunt. Participants will be duly informed of the date, time and venue.
  5. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the rules / change or postpone the date / or cancel the event if it is deemed needful.
  6. The decision of awarding prizes and points by the Judges will be final and no appeal will be entertained.
